Queen

In Queen, Jan Maghreb focuses on a woman on a beach. Part of the Silence collection, the work invites a closer look at quiet, reflection and the space between moments. Explore the photograph and its available fine art print editions.

This photograph owes its existence to chance. I lost my way while travelling to Casablanca in Morocco, stopped near a beach and went for a walk. There I encountered this beautiful woman with a book in her hand, surrounded by an extraordinary sense of calm.
