Open New Doors belongs to Jan Maghreb’s Open to the New collection. The series considers openings, thresholds and new possibilities; this work offers one interpretation within that wider exploration. View the original photograph and available fine art print formats.

It was a Sunday morning. I was about to get up when my eyes rested on an old wardrobe that, until then, had always seemed completely ordinary. But that morning, the world outside was reflected in its doors — the green garden, the house opposite, and the blue sky. It felt as though all I had to do was turn the key and open the doors to a new, happier life.
